As an artist, my goal is to create works using dot art that speak both to me and to others about the beauty that exists in the simplicity of the dot to evoke senses of symmetry, structure, harmony, and calmness. The abstract style is my favorite because whatever is seen in the piece is entirely up to the perspective of each individual viewer.

Part of my process is choosing the colors that play a large part in my paintings. I take inspiration from nature, cultures, other artists’ work, and colors of everyday life. Painting not just on canvas, but also on wood, plates, CDs, and even vintage vinyl records is my way of “upcycling” the unused and discarded into new works of art.

My other works of landscapes, flora and fauna, reflect the comfort and serenity I find in nature. I hope others will find a soothing peace in these paintings.
