Don’t go ‘round artless! Art-o-mat machines are retired cigarette vending machines that have been converted to vend art.  The experience of pulling the knob alone is quite a thrill, but you also walk away with an original work of art. Each work of art is $5. What an easy way to become an art collector! 

The Columbia Art-o-mat is located at the Richland Library Ballentine, 1200 Dutch Fork Rd, Irmo, SC 29063. Plan to bring cash when you visit.  The machine only takes $1 and $5 bills.
