Homeless Helping Homeless

Homeless Helping Homeless is made up of the homeless, formerly homeless and their supporters, created in 2012 to give the homeless their own voice. A 501c3 organization, we meet every Monday night at Transitions. Our purposes are to build self-esteem, self-reliance and to find solutions to the unique obstacles that homeless people face and to empower change. We want to educate the public about homelessness, to overcome the stereotypes, and show that the homeless can be respectable, responsible, productive citizens of this community.  Through public service, public appearances, singing and speaking throughout the city, as well as advocating for homeless issues before City Council, we are changing the face of  homelessness.
