Our very first Solstice at Riverfront North in 2016, with lanterns crafted by Becky Mace.
Welcome the coming light on this, the shortest, darkest day of the year!
Bring your lanterns and your friends to celebrate the Solstice! Gather at 5 in the Riverfront lot. Rangers and volunteers will provide poles for your lights and lanterns. The parade will move into the park around dark at 6:30.
This year, Indah Coffee will join us to serve cocoa and goodies from their cart. Emerald’s Artistry will join us to paint faces, too! Warm yourselves in good company as we mark the end of diminishing daylight and herald the slow return of the sun’s higher rays.
