Throwing the Mud

Calling youth ages 10-14 who want to learn to throw pottery. This wheel class is exclusively dedicated to teaching this age group. Some of the skills that will be taught include: Learning to center clay on the wheel; Learning to throw shapes; and Learning about trimming and glazing. Class meets on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. for 6 weeks. Registration fee of $90 covers instruction and operational costs. Students must have their own beginning pottery tool kit. (These are available at the Art Center for $10). Minimum number of student is 3 and maximum will be 8. There are 2 instructors who will rotate sessions.
