Painting Still Life – All Levels with Alicia Leeke

Students will learn what a still life painting is – and how to paint one – using acrylic paints. Regardless of your painting style, whether you’re a beginner or advanced painter, we will work on composition and blending to produce an original painting by the end of the class. You will start first thing in the morning with a small thumbnail warm up painting with an image provided to you by the instructor followed by a more complex composition by lunch with the intent to have a finished painting by the end of the day.

Students will need a basic set of paint brushes, an 8 x 10 canvas, and a basic set of acrylic paint with the following colors (yellow, red, blue, white, green, black and brown) and a should have a Vision Board brand, mixed-media book size 9 x 12.
