Lippan Painting - One Day Workshop/ Instruction by Jugnu Verma

Come learn this distinctive style of painting while also learning about the culture where it originated. Mud and Mirror work (also known as Lippan Kaam) is a traditional mural craft of Kutch, India. It has now gathered attention of the modern world for its intricate pattern and aesthetic perfection and has made a full transition from its modest stature to the mainstream art world. Registration fee of $40 includes instruction, all supplies and materials and operating costs. Class size limited to minimum of 3 and maximum of 12. Age appropriate: all ages 12 and above.
Class will be held on Wednesday January 15 6-8 pm at the Columbia Art Center.
