Hand Building Basics

This 6-week class is designed to equip the student with the basics of pottery. Skills that will be taught are Information on types and qualities of clay, Knowledge of basic tools, Techniques with pinch pots, coils, slabs, and Introduction to glazes. Students must have their own pottery tools. (Tool kits are available at the Art Center for $10.) Minimum of three (3) students Max of six (6.)
