Dick Goodwin Big Band Concert

The Dick Goodwin Big Band plays a nice sit-down-and-listen event.  The program includes some traditional jazz that you might hear at the Carolina Jazz Society’s Sept. thru May concerts, but will also have plenty of big band era and beyond selections.  The Band’s wonderful brass section is featured along with clarinet artist Doug Graham, masterful drummer Jim Hall, bassist-arranger Terry Trentham, guest guitar and banjo player Dwight Spencer, and talented vocalists Kristi Hood and John Wilkinson.  Goodwin plays trumpet, keyboard, and does an occasional vocal number … expect a surprise guest
