ColaJazz Artists Series at Public House

Every Wednesday night beginning Sept. 14, Main Street Public House will play host to the brand new “ColaJazz Artists Series” created by local jazz trumpeter Mark Rapp. “We will rotate through our roster of bandleaders involved in the ColaJazz movement,” explains Rapp. ColaJazz.com’s goal and mission is to grow, elevate and bolster the jazz community in and around Columbia, SC through recordings, events, education and providing an organized resource for all things jazz. “We’re determined to elevate our music scene,” says Rapp. Owner Jimmy Latulipe is reportedly a huge advocate and supporter of live music and especially jazz. Rapp said, “He is a welcomed breath of energy for our music, social and culinary development in Columbia.”
