Artists for Africa's Annual Post Card Art Event

Artists for Africa, USA will hold its annual Postcard Art Event on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Hilton Garden Inn in Columbia, SC.  To date, 103 local, regional, and nationally known artists are participating and have submitted over 200 pieces of original artwork for sale.  Tickets to the event are $30.00 in advance, $35.00 at the door.

The evening begins with a fun-filled cocktail hour from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

At 7:00 PM, the doors open for a gold rush style art buying event.  The 4”x 6” postcard-sized canvases are displayed anonymously with the artist’s signature on the back of the work.  All canvases are sold for $65.00 each.  Guests enjoy looking for a favorite artist’s style or finding emerging artists’ work.  In addition to the paintings, works “Outside the Box” will be offered for sale, including jewelry, oversized paintings, and art glass pieces.  It is a wonderful opportunity to discover new artists, take home a great piece by a known artist and give new hope to underprivileged children through the arts.
