A Happy Birthday Memorial and Celebration of Life for Joy Holman

Join us for special community cook-out and street naming dedication for Joy Holman.  Martin Luther King/Lower Waverly Neighborhood Association presents a A Happy Birthday Memorial and Celebration of Life for Joy Holman. Known for her decades-long work in coaching double dutch championship youth teams through love and discipline, MLK/Lower Waverly Neighborhood will honor Joy and celebrate her life. Mayor Steve K Benjamin, Ms. Freda Roseborough, Ms. Chloe Thomspon, and Ms. Joy Mills will offer reflections. Mr. Chestley Price will give a poem in honor of Joy with City of Columbia Proclamation delivered by Ms. Andya Davis.
