Preservation Workshop | Plaster at Seibels

Commensurate with ongoing structural investigations and eventual repairs at the Seibels House, several areas of plaster in both the walls and the ceilings were opened up for structural engineers to see inside. Attendees of this Preservation Workshop will have the opportunity to observe the full range of the plaster repair process. Each of the areas that was opened will be at a different stage in the process, so attendees will see how the different parts of a plaster systems work together from the lathe all the way to the finish coat.
