Program Basics
The CMS Adventures Series embraces healthy living, community service and social interaction in an interactive learning environment.
Admission and acceptance into the program is selective and courses fill quickly, so don’t miss out!
Returning scholars (Anyone that has previously participated in our CMS or in a Duke TIP Academic Adventures program or already registered – can log into an existing account to apply.

ADMISSION INFO
Choose the type of enrollment to fit your needs:
Residential – $975
Residential scholars check in Sunday afternoon and check out Friday at 2 p.m. The program fee includes all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and all afternoon and evening activities. Scholars reside in a university residence hall and experience student life at UofSC alongside counselors. Lab fees may also apply to some courses.
Commuter – $575
Commuting scholars check in Sunday afternoon for a mandatory orientation. Daily check-in is Monday through Friday at 8 a.m. Daily check-out is Monday through Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Friday check-out is 2 p.m. The program fee includes lunch and all afternoon activities. Commuters are also invited to participate in the Thursday evening pizza party and activities. Lab fees may also apply to some courses.
Commuter Plus Evening – $665
Commuter Plus Evening scholars check in Sunday afternoon for a mandatory orientation. Daily check-in is Monday through Friday at 8 a.m. Daily check-out is Monday through Thursday at 9:30 p.m. Friday check-out is 2 p.m. The program fee includes lunch and dinner and all afternoon and evening activities. Lab fees may also apply to some courses.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Below are the current COVID-19 protocols. Risk mitigation procedures may be updated as camps approach. These details will be shared when you receive your scholar forms to be completed. All participants must provide a.) a negative COVID-19 PCR test administered within 72 hours of arrival; b.) documentation of positive COVID PCR or antibody test within 90 days; OR c.) proof of COVID vaccination. If the PCR test is positive, scholars will not be permitted. If your scholar is sick, please do not come to campus. Scholars who are sick or showing any COVID-19/flu/cold like symptoms or have a fever of 100.4°F or greater will not be permitted. Transfers may be requested on a case by case basis. Please contact our office at (803) 777-9444. Face coverings are required while on campus. Daily temperature checks will be enforced for commuting students.
