Children ages 10-12 will be taught sewing techniques as they learn how to create this doll.
Students will use a design strategy called SCAMPER to help them generate ideas and develop their monster design. To create their monster in fabric they will use the applique sewing technique, a variety of hand stitches and a sewing machine. Course is recommended for ages 10-12. Machines and materials will be provided. Fee of $40 includes instruction, and materials cost. Class size limited to minimum of 4 and maximum of 12.
