APRIL 30 – MAY 2, 2015 – 3-Day Event in Camden Features Guided Tours, Lectures, Films and Exhibits
With a storied history dating back to 1732, the City of Camden will host the 2015 SC Humanities Festival, an annual event which highlights the local history and culture of a selected South Carolina community. This three-day event highlights Camden’s rich heritage with a “Gallop through History” theme through a series of scheduled activities which includes lectures, discussions, films, guided tours, exhibits and carriage rides. Several of Camden’s most beloved and historic sites will serve as venues for this year’s festival, such as private homes, Bloomsbury and Holly Hedge, and well as guided bus tours of the area’s horse country, and various historic districts.
