Swimming in the Sea of Awe

This exhibition focuses on the beauty and awe of found in the world and is inspired by the colors, textures and rhythms of water. These vibrant paintings created on paper, canvas and wood bring the feeling of great joy and balance to the surface.

Alicia Leeke, is a SC award winning contemporary artist currently using microscopy as inspiration to create colorful abstract paintings. She was juried into the 2018 Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Exhibition and ArtFields and is represented by Portfolio Art Gallery and Mitchell Hill in Charleston. She has shown at the Columbia Museum of Art and is a grant recipient from the Joan Mitchell Foundation in New York.
