CMFA ArtSpace

The CMFA ArtSpace, housed in a 23,000 sq. ft. adaptive reuse warehouse, is unique to SC because it offers multi-purpose rehearsal studios, meeting spaces, along with costume, set, and prop storage and workshop space. A small black-box theater is also available to performance groups. Each year visitors use the ArtSpace to participate in or experience arts activities as diverse as classical ballet classes and academies, modern dance workshops, children’s opera productions, cabaret evenings, West African drumming, salsa summits, and video productions. The facility is a destination bringing thousands of visitors and artists to the community each year.
