The Soda City Poetry Festival is a two-day celebration held in Columbia, SC, showcasing the rich heritage, vibrant present, and bright future of South Carolina’s poets. It features poetry readings, workshops, poetic conversations, and panels—all open to poets of all ages and skill levels. Most events are free and open to the public, with a special ticketed dinner & reading on Saturday night.
Founded by Columbia’s Poet Laureate Jennifer Bartell Boykin, the festival aims to foster inclusivity, creativity, and community across the four major regions of South Carolina.
