Body in Spirit is a mixed media sculpture which relates to its specific environment on multiple levels - the most pronounced being the negative space which is defined as a human figure.  This empty space captures that which is seen through it, thereby visually filling the void with what surrounds the sculpture.

The sculpture is made of bronze plate, a cast bronze dove, pink granite and treated cedar.
