Both touching and humorous, Passing By… describes the journeys of a modern day troubadour. Garald Farnham has entertained children and adults on five continents with his Renaissance spirit and song. Drawing from these experiences, he has created this spontaneous evening of stories and songs. The performance features Renaissance lute songs, songs from Shakespeare, traditional folk ballads and classics from the 1960s, plus words from Shakespeare and contemporary. This performance of Passing By… is a program of Good Pennyworths' October concert tour traveling from NYC to Florida and back. In June Garald made his fourth appearance at the Lute Society of America's Biennial Lute Festival at Case Western in Cleveland and his third performance with Early Music in Columbus.
