Sculptor Dustin Farnsworth of Montreal, Canada is our last Artist-in-Residence for 2017, having completed a 12-week residency from October 1 – December 23. Farnsworth creates visceral and cerebral portraiture of today’s youth with critical portrayal of their worldly inheritance, engaging in visual rhetoric representing a generation in need of protection, empowerment, and change.
His solo exhibition at 701 CCA will feature work made during his residency that expands upon his most recent studio practice and body of work.
