Each month begins with First Saturday Salsa / Bachata / Merengue Social with the amazing Joel Rodriguez on each first Saturday. There will be dancing instruction at 8pm, before the social begins and then strap up your dancing shoes for another steamy salsa Saturday!

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York, Joel Rodriguez, has been teaching dance since 2001. He has studied with some of the world’s leading Salsa, Mambo, Cha Cha, Bachata & Tango instructors. His career milestones include performing on live television on four occasions, participating in Bachata and Salsa Invitationals, and becoming a Qualifier in the Bachata Masters. In addition to teaching and performing, Joel excels at choreography. He loves improvising; he often takes one move and adds countless variations. His passion for dancing is evident whether he is teaching, performing, or dancing socially. Joel is also a licensed Zumba instructor.
