A 12-hour celebration of J.S. Bach and his family features a series of concerts, including Columbia’s Matthew Ganong, pianist, kicking the day off  at noon and concluding the event at the last concert from 11:00 p.m. to midnight. Also featured are Columbia’s organists, both students and professionals, playing Bach family works and youth concerts featuring young pianists and Suzuki Strings. A lecture by Peter Hoyt takes place at 7:00 p.m. followed by a choral orchestral concert by Colla Voce and soloists. An exhibit explains the Bach family genealogy, geography, compositional output, and other surprising and fun facts to know about one of the greatest composers of all time.

All events are free except the Colla Voce choral orchestral concert in the evening.
