The MOVell Film Festival returns again this year stronger and more determined than ever to change the world! For three years straight, Columbia production company SurvivingChild Media has joined forces with South Carolina non-profit, A.Bevy Productions to showcase messages and stories that beg to be told. Built off the power of art, more specifically film, the MOVell Film Festival has grown to the point of increasing the cash prizes and awards for winners while keeping the foundations behind the event and what the founders want to show through it the same. We want to show people, both the audience and the film makers, the power that film has to provoke change and spread a message. MOVell is different because although cinematography and other industry aspects are considered in the scoring of the submissions, the bread and butter of the judging comes into play with the message that comes across in the piece. We don't tell participants what their message needs to be, just that it should be important to them and their views of the world. We've been doing it for years now and this year will be our best yet.
