Vista Lights 2017, kicks off the holiday season in the Midlands, and will feature a Kids Zone for 2017 with activities for children, face painting, balloon artists and more on Lincoln Street. Additionally, Merry Marketplace, also on Lincoln Street, will feature several vendors offering unique, locally crafted goods.

The evening’s highlight will be a tree-lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. at the intersection of Gervais and Lincoln. Be there by 6 p.m. to see the music and dance performances before the main event, the tree lighting. Prettier than Matt will play on stage immediately following the tree lighting and then Soda City Jazz Band will begin at 8 p.m.
