The USC Percussion Ensemble is joined by four of Sekhon’s recent large percussion works. “Death is an Advisor” for solo piano and percussion ensemble features professor David Cutler on piano. Following this piece, USC saxophone professor Clifford Leaman is featured on “Gradient 2.0.” The second half of the program begins with the monumental work “Twelve Virtues” for soprano and percussion ensemble and features professor Tina Stallard.
