The Bogus Brothers – 2017 World Tour
“Lock up your grandmothers, we’re coming to a town near you” Fall tour.
47 years ago, on October 10th, four brothers from Lofansniecki, Utah, found themselves in Bloomington, Indiana. Broke and homeless, the boys came across from musical instruments and laundry appliances. Although they had never played musical instruments, (or laundry appliances either), they went off into the woods to learn how to play these wonderful items. While learning the boys discovered they had all inherited the Bogus family musical gene? The Bogus Brother Band was born.
The Bogus Brothers became the rage of Rapps Deli, sometimes packing the house with tens of people.
Their style of jug band music included traditional fiddle tunes, ballads, swing, blues, and modern day hits as well Fame and fortune was at their doorstep. They reached height they had never imagined.
Their fame was the bands downfall, each of the brothers felt they should be the frontman since they were Ma Bogus’s favorite. (In all honesty Ma didn’t like any of them.) The boys went on to pursue life away from each other.
After many years apart the Bogus Brothers are reunited for their first international tour.
