The Grammy Award-winning Parker Quartet, USC’s Quartet-in-Residence, USC’s Quartet-in-Residence, returns to Columbia October 19 for a free concert. The quartet has rapidly distinguished itself as one of the preeminent ensembles of its generation and has been hailed by The New York Times as “something extraordinary.” They will play at the brand new Moore School Concert Hall located adjacent to the School of Music and Koger Center buildings. Be among the first to experience the Raphael Viñoly designed building and concert hall. The Parkers will play Mendelssohn’s Quartet in E Flat Major and will be joined by USC faculty William Terwilliger, Rebecca Hunter, Daniel Sweaney, Robert Jesselson for the Bruch Octet.
