Scarecrows in the Garden Workshop

Scarecrows in the Garden Workshop

Presented by Historic Columbia at Robert Mills House & Gardens Grounds

Looking to create a historic, ghoulish or traditional scarecrow to decorate your home this fall or to enter in our Scarecrows in the Garden Contest? Presented by Palmetto Parent, this workshop will give you the skills needed to sculpt your handcrafted scarecrow. You will receive guided instruction, a scarecrow kit and inspiration from scarecrows who have visited our gardens in previous years. At the end of the workshop, you may take your scarecrow home or have it displayed on the Robert Mills House grounds and entered in the contest for an additional fee. Don’t forget to visit the free Scarecrows in the Garden Exhibit to see this year’s crop of scarecrows!
