Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR) invites artists to submit entries to the 4th annual Time For Art event on December 9th, 2017 at the TAPP’s Art Center. The gala expects 400 guests and features a unique silent art auction by which the public places bids with volunteer hours they are willing to complete in lieu of money. Attendees will experience the musical works of a variety of local acts, meet featured nonprofits, and enjoy a few artistic surprises throughout the evening.
Selected artist have a multitude of benefits. Time for Art is TAPP’s December gallery exhibit with pieces on display for a month during critical holiday hours on Main Street. In addition, artists have the opportunity to display additional pieces of artwork, separate from the auction item, for sale. TAPP’s will manage the sale of artwork and sold based on the price specified by the artist with TAPP’s receiving 30% of the sale. Artists will be included in marketing outreach prior to and following the event including: social media, email distributions, press releases, auction catalog, and media spots. Two free tickets along with a discount code for family and friends are also included. And don’t forget! Your FREE one year membership to COR is included!
All mediums are accepted in a format no larger than 36”x48” and retail valued at $500 or less. Artwork must be original, signed by the artist, and ready to hang.
