With only five days to go before the Great American Eclipse graces Columbia, SC with its heavenly presence, what better way to spend an evening than with Legendary Chapel Hill, NC’s Dexter Romweber? Formerly of Flat Duo Jets and the Dex Romweber Duo, Mr. Romweber will burn through material spanning his 33 year career producing high quality rock, punk, psychobilly and whatnot. The best part: he’ll play longer than 2 minutes and 36 seconds. Jack White, Nico Case and Exene Cervenka credit Dex as a major influence to their own music. Kipp Shives, who’ll be celebrating his 45th birthday, and Special Guest will open. Mark Rapp Group will perform jazz from 6:00-9:00 for no cover charge. Tickets are $7 in advance, $11 day of show.
