PRIMO ENTERTAINMENT GROUP presents A STEPPER'S GROOVE,  With lead and instruction by GC Capital Steppers, Katura & Tarnaz Greene.  

PRIMO is Columbia's premier entertainment franchise that delivers unique, multicultural and exquisite things to do for the Midlands professionals.  Featuring a new line up each month, Primo has teamed up with other area businesses to give Columbia's professionals a reason to stay and play in the city that they live and work in instead of taking their hospitality dollars out of the city.  

A Stepper's Groove, is a night of Chicago Stepping and Detroit Urban Ballroom dancing.   The "stepper's" dance form that originated in Chicago with roots from the bop.  Stepping was first recognized as an art form in 1990 and is continuing to blossom across the USA.  Katura & Tarnaz Greene (formerly of the Purple Charlotte Steppers) of GC Capital Steppers will lead the instruction for the 8:00 PM session.  The happily married couple of regional and national steppers travels and performs nationally, recently relocated back home to Columbia from Charlotte, NC.  They teach both Chicago Stepping & Detroit Urban Ballroom at their studio at he Booker T. Washington Cultural Center, 803-569-8590.  They have invited steppers from VA, NC, GA and other states to come and showcase dancing for the night.  Come and enjoy a fun, energetic and safe night of dancing.  A Stepper's Groove is open to ages 21 and up.  Individuals, couples and groups are invited to attend and step into something new!
