Learn about Lexington County’s reactions and contributions to World War I.
2017 marks the 100th anniversary of the United States’ entry into World War I. To help commemorate this anniversary, the Lexington County Museum will be giving a lecture on Lexington County’s role in the Great War. Attendees will learn about Lexington County’s reaction to the war, the experience of Lexington County soldiers, and the equipment that soldiers used. Museum staff members will also have artifacts used by Lexington County soldiers during World War I on display.
