Journey Under the Sea with Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. at Workshop Theatre
Come under the sea with Workshop Theatre this June as we present Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. Ariel, Ursula, Prince Eric, and all the under the sea friends come to life June 27, 28 and 29 for six performances at the AC Flora High School Auditorium.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. is based on the Hans Christian Andersen story and the Disney film and tells the coming of age story of the mermaid princess Ariel. In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home – and her fins – behind and live in the world above. But first she'll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. is an ideal family show designed for children of all ages, featuring the hit songs "Part of Your World," "She's in Love," and the Oscar-winning "Under the Sea." There will be six performances, offering morning, afternoon, and evening shows. Show times include Friday, June 27 at 7 pm; Saturday, June 28 at 10:30 am, 3 pm, and 7 pm; and Sunday, June 29 at 3 pm and 7 pm.

EG Heard Engle directs this talented cast of children. Music direction is by Jordan Harper and choreography is by Katie Hilliger.

This show marks the first for Workshop Theatre away from the former home on Bull Street.
