The class is structured to be applicable to widely varied numbers and styles – all with an eye to saving money, innovative solutions, and high impact results. With a background in theater, Dee created costumes for stage prior to her burlesque career and has created all her own costumes in her more than 7 years performing burlesque. Every attendee will receive Dee’s easy reference guide to take home – which includes her favorite online shopping supply websites and her top tips list!

Coquette Du Jour; Coordinating Your Limbs (for both Improv and Choreographed Pieces)
Feeling like a squiggley jellyfish? Not quite sure how to incorporate some much needed dance movements in your piece? This fun class reviews some standard burlesque movements and goes into methods of how to create basic combinations out of them. Combinations are great to incorporate in choreography or throw into an improvisation piece. Bring comfortable clothes to move in and a notebook to write down brilliant ideas!

12:45 PM
Tittiana Sprinkles; Mindful Nerdlesque: How to Engage, Not Enrage

We’ve all been there – watching a burlesque act and wondering, “What is happening?” or “Why is this happening?” Join Tittiana Sprinkles to discuss how to make nerdlesque entertaining to not just fans, but any audience! While fan service is great, half of the fun is getting other people interested in something you love. We will also discuss appropriation in nerdlesque and how to pick a topic best suited to your needs. Nerdlesque should be fun for everyone – regardless of race, gender, or Star Trek vs. Star Wars allegiance!

Class cost – $25 for a single class or $20 per class if taking more than one.
