The South Carolina Arts Awards is an annual celebration of the statewide arts community that honors recipients of the Elizabeth O’Neill Verner Governor’s Awards for the Arts and the Jean Laney Harris Folk Heritage Awards (The Folk Heritage Awards are presented in conjunction with USC’s McKissick Museum.) Award recipients will be honored at the South Carolina Arts Luncheon, which is presented by the South Carolina Arts Foundation as a fundraiser benefiting the arts education and arts development programs at the South Carolina Arts Commission. This year’s awards event is also a celebration of the Arts Commission’s 50th Anniversary. Tickets are $50.
