USC Chamber Orchestra Concert

Presented by USC School of Music at Johnson Performance Hall, Darla Moore School of Business, level 1

Two guest artists join USC’s premier chamber orchestra this concert. Violinist Bella Hristova is acclaimed for her passionate, powerful performances, beautiful sound, and compelling command of her instrument. The Washington Post noted that she is “a player of impressive power and control.”  She performs Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major, K219, often referred to by the nickname “The Turkish.” Ina Esther Joost Ben-Sasson has been in high demand as a soloist accompanied by world renowned symphony orchestras. She performs Meira Warshauer’s “In Memoriam” for cello and strings. Dr. Donald Portnoy conducts.
