The AIDS Benefit Foundation of South Carolina will hold its annual Dining with Friends Dessert Finale, June 21, 2014 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., at the Koger Center for the Arts, located at 1051 Greene Street in Columbia, SC.
Hosts from all over Columbia have parties in their homes all month (and some the afternoon of the Finale) where they invite their friends in for all sorts of themed events (i.e., wine tastings, cookouts, and dinner parties.) to raise money and on June 21st party goers gather for the Dessert Finale.
You don't have to host or attend a party to join in on the fun! This gala event featuring a variety of gourmet desserts, an open bar, live entertainment and a silent auction where guests may bid on hand-painted platters by South Carolina artists, in addition to a wide range of other high-value items. An after party of sorts!
The Dining with Friends Dessert Finale is a ticketed event, and you must be 21or over in order to attend. Tickets are required and each ticket admits one person. Please have your ticket available for collection at the front door.
Tickets may be secured by making a donation supporting our organization at a hosted party, directly to the Foundation or one of our Board of Directors. Donations may also be made at the door the evening of the finale or via Paypal at www.abfsc.org. Checks may be made out to ABFSC or AIDS Benefit Foundation of SC and mailed to P.O. Box 2403, Columbia, SC 29202. Any donor who makes a minimum gift of $25 will receive a complimentary ticket to the Dessert Finale.
We raise money through fun and engaging events which involve the entire community. Our past events include Artists Against AIDS, Palmetto Holiday Showcase and currently Dining with Friends.
According to the US Census Department, South Carolina, particularly Columbia (#6), ranks in the top ten in HIV/AIDS cases in the country and state funding to help fight this disease is constantly being cut. Our foundation helps those organizations by granting funds to those that help aid those living with this disease.
This isn’t just 24 years of “Dining with Friends," it's 24 years of caring for individuals living with HIV/AIDS in South Carolina. We cannot do this without your help!
