Rene is a 12-string guitarist, with a Southern-Folk-Rock percussive groove. A nice blend of Bonnie Raitt/Stevie Nicks and James Taylor/ Michael Hedges. She has been crafting her percussive, finger-picking style since she picked up the 12-string in 1972. She was never interested in playing a 6-string, only the 12-string guitar would do.
