The NiA Company, South Carolina’s nomadic theatre troupe, returns with the Southeastern premiere of an original play by New York playwright Dean Poynor, TOGETHER WE ARE MAKING A POEM IN HONOR OF LIFE.  Poynor’s play focuses on a couple (Brian and Rebecca) after losing their youngest child in a school shooting. Starring Columbia standouts Bonita Peeples and Darion McCloud,directed by Heather McCue and stage managed by Beth Dehart, this play mines the depths of loss, the complexity of relationships and how memory can ensnare us. Creating a unique immersive theatre experience, NiA shares this compelling story as only it can. All this coupled with an art installation created by artist Kara Gunter specifically for this play and once again, NiA delivers a bold, raw, human story.
