The Southern Guitar Festival and Competition (SGFC) is a two-day event that will be held in Columbia, SC on June 10 and 11, 2017. During the Festival, two concerts will be presented that will feature up to 10 local and international artists. The Festival will also feature master classes and workshops that are open to the public. During these two days, guitarists from all over the world will have a chance to compete for cash prizes and concert opportunities. Guitarists, ages 8 and up, are eligible to participate in the competition. The Competition is open to the public to attend. The SGFC will be hosted by the Richland County Public Library.
