Promoting literary excellence since 1997, the SC Book Festival has grown successfully over the past decade. The festival has become a nationally recognized and regionally dominant book festival. Best of all, it’s right here in South Carolina.
Attendees enjoy three days of activities. Saturday and Sunday are free to everyone. Listening to your choice of more than 70 authors presenting in solo and panel presentations, shopping and browsing in the Exhibit Hall for books, book-related items, local libraries and rare finds among the 100 exhibitors, your experience can be designed by you each day or each hour. The Antiquarian Book Fair occurs in the Exhibit Hall where you can find rare books and those book collectors’ first editions. Special ticketed events include an Opening Night Reception, Master Classes in Writing, Children’s Pavilion and Stage, a partnership event on Saturday night with the Richland County Public Library, the Literary Vine, and more.
Come to the SC Book Festival for a relaxing Saturday and Sunday. Drop in for a couple of hours or spend an entire day booking spring fun at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
