Discover a surprising liaison between The Palace of Versailles and the United States in this program which features two of Corrette’s “Concerto Comiques” plus a Montclair cantata for solo voice and instruments, harpsichord music by Pancrace Royer, and a chaconne for gamba by Marais. Ensemble music of Boismortier and Dornel features a beautiful liaison of French and Italian styles.
Performers for the evening include Britnee Siemon, mezzo soprano; Jean Hein, Baroque recorders; Mary Hosteler Hoyt, Baroque violin; Erika Cutler, Baroque violin; Gail Ann Schroeder, viola da gamba; and Jerry Curry , harpsichord.
