On Monday, December 5, 2016 at 6:00pm, the Nick will host a fundraiser  to raise support and bring awareness to our Helen Hill Media Education Center. Guests will be treated to food and drinks, provided by The War Mouth, along with live jazz music from the Sunrise Jazz Ensemble and a silent auction. In 2012 the Nick launched our Media Education Center with one employee, two interns, and very limited support. Over the last four years the Center has grown significantly and even carved out a space in our building with video editing stations and an equipment locker. As of 2016 we currently host three after-school programs, seasonal adult workshops led by local artists, two sessions of summer camp, and a field trip program, all serving over 300 students last year alone. While we’ve grown at such a rapid pace, community funding is vital to further develop impactful programs.
