Bullets & Bandaids has partnered with Bourbon Columbia and Cola Jazz to present “Bullets, Bandaids, and Bourbon: Fundraiser and Silent Auction” on June 26, 2022 from 5-9pm at Bourbon Columbia at 1214 Main Street in Downtown Columbia, SC.

Patrons will enjoy a jazz quintet, silent auction featuring works of art from local artists, hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Proceeds from the event will fund the Bullets & Bandaids Volume 4 art and storytelling experience that will tour in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia this fall.  Food and drinks are included in the ticket price.

Bullets & Bandaids is a nonprofit with a mission to heal social barriers separating veterans and civilians by celebrating our common humanity through storytelling and art. Local veterans from selected cities share their stories with civilian writers who capture their experience with their writing then share that story with civilian artists to inspire a piece of visual art. The combined pieces are published in a book and the original works and audio stories are taken on tour. This art experience reinforces on both a micro and macro scale that we are all sharing a common human journey, and that there is both support and responsibility in that acknowledgment.
