Spend a fun and relaxing Saturday learning the Art of Collage. We will make simple collage papers, as well as use magazines, old book pages, maps, letters, receipts and other memorabilia to create 2 – 3 small works on paper or canvas. No painting experience necessary. Water bottles and snacks will be provided, and participant may bring a sack lunch if needed.

To Bring:

We are working small in this class, and the student will need a flat surface to collage onto. It can be an inexpensive Watercolor Pad or 2-3 small canvases, flat panels or boards that are 5″ x 7″ or 8″ x 10.

– Scissors

– 4-5 of your favorite colors of acrylic paint. It can be a small starter set.

– Paint Brushes – a variety of synthetic brushes or brush pack

– Magazine Pages, Old Book Pages, Maps, Letters, Origami Papers Scrapbook papers (Whatever papers you would like to see in a collage painting)

– Instructor will provide Glues and Parchment Paper for making Papers. She will also have extras of everything to share if you forget something.
