Happy Glampers is a unique night of festive generosity to benefit Camp U, The Unumb Center’s summer camp for children with autism.
Join us on Tuesday, May 17th from 5-9pm for Happy Glampers: a night of festive generosity benefitting Camp U! Camp U is an inclusive summer day camp for children with autism and social skills deficit hosted by The Unumb Center this July at Camp Cole.
Happy Glampers will feature small bites from Gervais & Vine, beer from Westbrook Brewing, wine courtesy of Green’s, and dessert courtesy of Spotted Salamander. Live entertainment by Chris Reed will fill our glampground at Stone River, which showcases scenic views of the Congaree River and downtown Columbia!
Wear your best glamp attire (Click here for inspiration!), and plan to partake in activities like cornhole and croquet.
The canteen at Happy Glampers is a first of its kind fundraiser. You will have the opportunity to purchase items such as weekend getaways, summer essentials, outdoor gear and apparel, artwork, and more. Here’s a sneak peak of some of the items that will be available: a mosaic end table from Casual Living, artwork by Paul Shortt, a handcrafted birdhouse from Front Perch (as seen at the Soda City Market), Brackish Pinchney Feather Cufflinks, a Kodak Instant Print Camera, Bandits Bandanas, tickets to the Charleston Aquarium, ferry passes to Bull Island SC, a weekend stay at Bent Creek Bed and Breakfast in Asheville, tickets to the South Carolina State Museum, and much more!
You will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to win a three-night glamping trip in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia.
Your support at Happy Glampers will make Camp U possible. Thanks to you, campers with autism and social skills deficits will have the opportunity to participate in swimming, boating, fishing, horsemanship, crafts, and much more!
