The South Carolina State Museum announces an exciting new laser event this summer starting Friday, June 24. Friday Night Laser Lights will run every fourth Friday through the month of August in the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Planetarium. Guests will enjoy a stunning display of lasers choreographed to a number of hits from classic rock to electronic dance music. There will be three different shows starting at 8, 9 and 10 p.m. all featuring different genres of music. Doors open at 7 p.m. The event will feature local food trucks at each event as well as a custom made planetarium bar for guests to purchase beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages sponsored by K&W Beverage.

10 p.m. – Pink Floyd: The Wall (run time: 50 mins)

8 p.m. – Jimi Hendrix (run time: 52 mins)
9 p.m. – Metallica (run time: 51 mins)
10 p.m. – Pink Floyd: The Wall (run time: 50 mins)

Tickets are $8 per show for general public and $6 per show for museum members. Please note: Laser shows contain bright, flashing lights that may cause discomfort to those with light sensitivity or other pre-existing conditions.
