This Sax-Man has quickly become one of the fastest rising stars and most thrilling performers in jazz. Besides Rihanna, Elan is the only other Barbadian – born recording artist with over 12 Billboard-topping radio singles in his career.

Though inspired by Grover Washington, Jr., Kirk Whalum, and Najee, Trotman brings his tropical grooves and soulful Caribbean flavors to major festivals and jazz clubs worldwide. On this night, he will have you grooving with his tribute to Marvin Gaye that features the Billboard Topping Single Got To Give It Up, plus Inner City Blues, Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing, I Want You, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, and more.

In addition to a successful solo career, the Berklee College of Music graduate has also worked as a side-man with some of the biggest names in the biz including Peter White, Roberta Flack, Jeffrey Osborne, Johnny Gill, Peabo Bryson, Michael Mcdonald, Jonathan Butler, Sheila E, and Earl Klugh. Elan serves as a Professor at the Berklee College of Music and The Executive Producer of the Annual Barbados Jazz Excursion which directly supports Elan’s Never Lose Your Drive Foundation in Barbados.
